GRAND REUNION PLANNED

MONTGOMERY SCHOOL 50TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

Together with the school, we are planning to hold 2 massive school reunion nights at the Norbreck Castle to celebrate its 50th birthday. All pupils, teachers and school governors, past and present, will be invited to the two reunion dates, planned for the
5th & 6th September 2008.

I am looking for 1 volunteer from each year group to help me co-ordinate the reuinons and to find people who may not be aware of the event. Again, please contact me if you are interested in volunteering to represent your year group.

DATE OF BIRTH TO STARTING YEAR CONVERSION TABLE

This website is for the thousands of former pupils and staff who attended the school since its conception in 1959. The site contains an e-mail directory upon which former pupils are listed by the year they started secondary school aged 11. For Indexing purposes the education admission year which runs from 1st September to . 31st August has been used.
For example former pupils born between 1st September 1956 and 31st August 1957 will be 1968 starters.

There are views of the original buildings from various angles, taken before the official opening in 1959. There is a growing collection of snapshots from school days, these include both official and personal photographs. The official photographs featured are taken from the School Magazine and with kind permission from the school. Sports teams include Netball, Rugby, and Football. Where possible photographs list both pupils and teachers. Links to these photographs can be found in the
